KAYLIE & JOEL | HERDSMAN LAKE CEREMONY | BACKYARD WEDDING RECEPTION

Joel & Kaylie approached Joel’s grandmother to request to have their Pop Up Wedding in her backyard. The yard which Joel had grown up in, which had hosted three generations of celebrations and with a bit of work, they transformed the yard into a gorgeous backyard reception venue with heart.

They were married at a gorgeous little spot at Herdsman Lake and chose the Bohemian Wedding Ceremony set up with mis-matched rugs as the runner, the teepee arbor and the large dream catchers behind hanging from the trees. With gorgeous flower arrangements by Sweet Floral and Kaylie’s flower crown and two piece dress, the whole wedding had a boho vibe.

After photos around the lake with resident photographer Emma Pointon, the couple headed to the backyard wedding reception, catered by Crafted Events for the canapes and mains and dessert was the gorgeous cake by The Messy Apron.
